Sarah Woerner
Owner/Director
Ms. Sarah began her teaching career at age fifteen while still taking classes at Dimensions. She continued to dance and teach at Dimensions until the age of eighteen. She graduated from Madison High and attended Catawba College in Salisbury, NC. While at Catawba, Sarah was a member of Dance Ensemble and performed for the community. After one year at Catawba, Sarah decided to go back home to Mars Hill, where she attended Mars Hill College for one year. At Mars Hill, she continued teaching classes at Dimensions and also participated in the Bailey Mountain Cloggers shows as a guest performer with their dance team.
Upon graduating college at East Tennessee State University, Ms. Sarah had met the love of her life and moved with him to Clayton, GA. Sarah continued to expand her knowledge of dance by teaching and working with Betsy’s School of Dance in Franklin, NC and Tiger, GA. Ms. Sarah choreographed and participated in the end of year productions and also led dancers from Betsy’s to a local competition and won very high awards!
In 2017, Ms. Sarah and her husband welcomed their sweet baby boy, Oaklee to the world! They then decided it was time to bring their family back home to Mars Hill. Coincidently, Ms. Sarah received a phone call from Ms. Angel asking if she wanted to buy Dimensions Studio. Sarah has always loved dancing and giving dance to the community. It was always a dream of hers to be the owner of a dance studio, but Dimensions had and continues to have a very special place in her heart.
Ms. Sarah became owner of Dimensions Studio on June 1, 2018. She loves being able to give back to the community and continue what Dimensions started in 1997.
